The National Opinion Census

The following discussion clip is from the Occupy Wall Street demand summary list.

This comment speaks to an important need. A system I came up with to address the transparency issue I call the National Opinion Census. ( Discussed in more detail at http://A3society.org – Government tab. ) In short, the widest possible collection of citizen views is collected from across the country and ORGANIZED for everyone to see. Comments are collected and organized as well, showing how many people endorse each point. Rating groups, like you suggested, could also chime in. There could be many of these ranging from local organizations to appropriate trade groups and colleges. The point being, it would soon become clear how the public felt about any issue without relying on any authority that had to be policed to enforce that they tell the truth.
